Elon Musk, head of the Government's Office of Efficiency (DOGE), announced that federal employees must report their achievements since last week or risk losing their jobs.

“Consistent with @Realdonaldtrump's instructions, all federal employees will receive an email promptly requesting a request to understand what they did last week,” Musk told XPost. I am writing. “A failure to respond will be considered a resignation.”
“To be clear, the bar is very low here. Some bullet point emails that make sense are acceptable! They should not take more than five minutes to write,” Musk added.
A federal employee then said, “Please reply to this email with about what you achieved last week and the manager's 5 bullets.”
Meanwhile, Democrat lawmakers and labor unions have vowed to violate Musk's orders.
“This is a good opportunity for large-scale civil disobedience. Musk has no authority to do this. All federal employees will report to work and write a letter to GFY (go f *** yourself) and encourage him to continue to demonstrate the public and patriotism he lacks,” wrote Illinois Democratic leader Shaun Kasten (D-Ill.).
“To think this is the best use of time for our intelligence agents, VA workers, air traffic controllers and everyone who relies on us to do our job well, we can say, “Argh, to be honest, that's what we think is the best use of time.” It requires an incredible combination of arrogance and stupidity,” Kasten continued.
Everett Kelly, national president of the United States Federation of Government Employees, responded to Musk's command, claiming that the new initiative showed “a complete sloppy to federal employees and the important services they provide to Americans.”
“For hundreds of thousands of veterans wearing second uniforms in civil servants, duties against privileged and unelected billionaires with this touch who have never performed an hour-long run. It is cruel and rude to be forced to justify his life, public service,” Kelly said.

Hours after President Donald Trump asked for masks “more aggressive” when it came to cutting costs, while eradicating fraud and waste within federal spending.
President Donald Trump recently praised Musk's work with Doge, saying his administration is in the process of eliminating “corrupted” federal employees.
“We have a group of very corrupt people in this country. We found them,” Trump said at a conservative political action meeting on Saturday. “We are removing all unnecessary, incompetent, corrupt bureaucrats from federal workers.”
Despite criticism, Musk confirmed that a new initiative has been taken to assess whether government officials have checked emails at all.
“The reason this is important is that a considerable number of people who are supposed to work for the government don't do enough work to not check their email at all! In some cases, people who don't exist or They believe that the identities of the dead are being used to collect payroll. In other words, there is a complete scam,” Musk added on Sunday.
