Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) appeared on MSNBC's “Morning Joe” on Tuesday, calling on lawmakers not to give President Donald Trump their authority.
Co-host Jonathan Remair said: Who did Nancy Pelosi when she took office in the first few years of Trump's first term? So let's take a look more from Ryan Noble's interview with Sen. Markowski, who warned his Republican colleagues not to give his powers to President Trump. ”
Murkowski said: “We're responsible when management is basically blown away in Congress or rolling Congress right away and allowing it. You're absolutely a 100% supporter of President Trump. I believe we can still stand up to the Senate system, especially for the legislative sector with the authorities stipulated by the Constitution.”
She added: “So, if we just say that, we're going to give away some of the authorities because we like his policy. Don't think this is the last time you'll see it.”
