Illegal aliens are criminals, not victims

The Trump administration is only just beginning deportation efforts, and the media has already shaped the victims' stories. The reporter emphasizes nervous parents, crying children and hopeless prayers. All of these are designed to pressure guilt and conservatives to abandon border enforcement. This strategy has worked in the past, but the immigration crisis has escalated to acknowledging the damage these policies have done in their own districts.

Americans must stand firm in protecting borders, protecting communities and refusing moral threats. Media tactics to use guilt to undermine border enforcement have previously been effective. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Dn.Y.) widely published his feelings about the “Kids in Cages” story in 2018.

Conservatives must be determined when the media attempts to manipulate the public and oppose the deportation policy Trump has been elected to enforce.

Some Democrats, including New York City Mayor Eric Adams, are aware that unidentified illegal immigrants are harming their members, but the broader movement of progress has refused to settle. The moment Trump's deportation efforts resumed, the media flooded the news cycle with tales of hardships, portraying illegal immigrants as victims. But the reality is clear. They break the law and their removal is not only justified, but is necessary to maintain the rule of law and protect the American people.

By 2025, Americans had reached an immigration breakpoint. The emotional charm and the story of “Children in the Cage” that worked in 2018 no longer holds the same shaking. For years, liberals have made mass immigration possible by framing it as a bureaucratic misclassification rather than a legal violation. They actively stripped the term “illegal” from the conversation and labeled those who pointed to legal violations as racist. Some progressives have even attempted to grant illegal immigrants the right to vote in local and state elections.

Meanwhile, some conservatives play their own version of the immigration game, portraying illegal immigrants as religious, family-friendly and hardworking. They argued that illegal entry as a minor offence similar to Jay Walking would be minimized, and that these new arrivals would ultimately enhance conservative value.

The reality is that massive amounts of illegal immigration weakened the rule of law, disrupt the community, and boosted the cost of living. The middle class has shrunk, family formation has stagnated, and the spread of American traditions and values has slowed to the point where conservatism struggles to maintain itself. The impact of unidentified immigration has restructured the country.

Illegal immigration is neither victimless crime nor bureaucratic surveillance. It is often coordinated by foreign cartels that use it as a conduit for drug smuggling and human trafficking. The gang infiltrates American cities and steals control of their neighborhoods and apartments as seen in Aurora, Colorado. High concentrations of illegal immigration create ethnic enclaves where assimilation is minimal and the acquisition of English is avoided.

Hospitals and emergency rooms receive care without paying bills for illegal immigrants (many of which do not have health insurance) and care without increasing costs and increasing waiting times for American citizens. Already tense public schools are forced to distract resources to accommodate English-speaking students, reducing the quality of education for born children.

Illegal immigration also distorts the labor market by increasing competition for employment and suppressing wages. The surge in population has inflated housing demand, and it is impossible for young couples to learn more about homeownership as they try to get started.

Not all illegal immigrants are violent, but all crimes committed by one person are completely preventable. Laken Riley should still be alive today. Her murder was not merely a tragedy, but a direct result of the Biden administration that allowed her murderers to stay in the country. All the crimes committed by undeported illegal immigrants are a failure of leadership, and all policymakers who made it possible have blood in his hands.

Conservatives must be determined when the media attempts to manipulate the public and oppose the deportation policy Trump has been elected to enforce. Illegal aliens are criminals. If deportation causes pain or difficulty for them, they are not victims – they are experiencing the consequences of their actions. If a child is affected, the liability lies with illegal immigrants, not with the US government or Americans. Negative behavior is not corrected without consequences, and the Trump administration must enforce the law without hesitation if the immigration crisis is resolved.

When Debrina Kawam boarded the New York subway, she never thought she would become the subject of a terrifyingly iconic image. The 57-year-old New Jersey woman is said to have been brought to life by an illegal 33-year-old foreigner from Guatemala, as police officers have seen. Whenever the media tries to shame conservatives in order to support deportation, the only response must be the image of a flame-filled Debrina, screaming for help that never came.

Americans don't need to live this way. The Trump administration must not only continue its deportation efforts, but also reject the media's cynical attempts at moral horror. The lives of women like Debrina Kawam and Laken Riley depend on it.
