Bill O'Reilly details Trump's vision for Gaza after speaking with him

Veteran news host Bill O'Reilly proposed on Wednesday that President Trump's controversial “Trump Gaza” video reflects the region's vision of economic prosperity, not the US occupation.

“Donald Trump believes you will never have peace in the area unless you thrive,” O'Reilly said when he appeared on News Nation.”Cuomo. ”

“The fastest and easiest way to reach prosperity is to build a Mediterranean coastline and hire more people to serve the buildings and resorts,” he added.

The video comes when Trump suggests that he transforms Gaza into a “Middle Eastern Riviera.”

O'Reilly discussed the concept “directly” with Trump, saying the president's vision predated the recent official statement regarding the US involvement in Gaza. According to a former Fox News host, Trump believes Saudi Arabia and other wealthy Arab countries are funding development rather than America.

“He just wanted to scare Hamas,” O'Reilly said of Trump's previous statement suggesting control of Gaza. “[But] It never happens. Terrorists will make sure that doesn't happen. But if that could happen, it would benefit the poor Gazaans. ”

Trump also suggests that Palestinians will be moved forever after the war between Israel and Hamas ends.

The plan invited criticism from Arab-American and Muslim leaders, heads of Western countries and leaders of Middle Eastern countries.

In an interview with Fox News, which aired earlier this month, Trump also suggested that Palestinians would not have the right to return to Gaza.

“In other words, I'm talking about building a permanent place for them, because if they have to come back now, that's probably years ago you've been – it's not inhabited,” Trump said. “It's going to take years for that to happen.”

Hamas, which has long ruled in Gaza, Blasted a video that Trump sharedIn a statement, the president said he is “re-suggesting ideas and solutions that don't take into account the culture and interests of Indigenous people,” asking Palestinians to establish their own nation.

The extremist group added on Wednesday that they are “ready to work with parties who want to contribute to alleviating the suffering of the people of the Gaza Strip,” adding that they “help rebuilding the area while respecting our people's will and respecting the compliance with their land.”

Israel and Hamas are currently signing a vulnerable ceasefire agreement that ended the conflict that began with the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023. The second phase of the transaction is to begin shortly after the remaining hostages and Palestinian prisoners are exchanged.
