Artificial intelligence, as we know, changes the world, including war. That's the reason Glenbeck The Pentagon's investment in designing new weapons is a waste of time, energy and money.

“This is something people don't understand. The ASI looks at the periodic table of elements and says, “Guys, there's material, when you shuffle the deck like this, you'll get 9,000 mph. It's lifted under heat and friction. It doesn't bend. It's perfect,” he continues.
“And by the way, here's the formula. You don't have to go for two years and test it,” he says. “It's how quickly things happen when they start to happen.”

And while that sounds good, it doesn't sit well with Glenn.
“This scares hell from me because you know how I feel about AI,” he told Stu.
“There are obviously many negative potential consequences with AI. If you control the government, the military,” agrees Stu.
“The government is already involved in it,” retorts Glenn. “I say we can have the government build a power plant, we know what the country needs, we can build the infrastructure to handle this and say, 'We've got it, we can turn it on.' ”
“Don't build another aircraft carrier. Don't design another F-57,” he continues. “Don't do it. I don't know what's coming. Please fix what we have, make sure we have ammo and make sure we already have the latest and best ones here. Don't R&D about that.”
