The two young children, just 7 and 12, have been forced to defeat and torture a transgender man, Sam Nordquist, at a motel in upstate New York, prosecutors revealed in a disturbing update Wednesday.
The 24-year-old victim was sexually assaulted on a table leg and broom, bleached by him and beaten with stick dog toys, rope canes and belts for the weeks leading up to his death at Patty's lodge motel in the Finger Lakes area last month.
It was not immediately clear how the children involved in Nordquist's torture were doing, but prosecutors described it as one of the “nastiest parts” of the twisted case.
“It's very intrusive because two kids have to take part in another human be-hit,” Ontario County Assistant Kelly Walford told a news conference.
“It can be spoken for myself and for everyone involved in this investigation – one of the most troublesome parts of this. It's heartbreaking.”
The disturbing allegations have been exposed as seven suspects were charged with first-degree murder on Wednesday in regards to the shocking death of the Nordquist on February 2nd.
The suspect, previously arrested for second-degree murder, was accused of being in danger to the kidnapping and child on 11 charges.
Nordquist, a black man from Minnesota, was transgender, but authorities say he has no evidence that his death was a hate crime.
Authorities identified at least some of the perpetrators as LGBTQ+, and said at least one person lived with Nordquist.
Despite not being labelled as a hate crime, prosecutors said the Nordquist was treated “like a dog” in the month before his death.
“Sam is beaten, attacked, sexually abused, starved, taken prisoner, and we can't understand that,” Wolford said.

“We can't put it in his gender. We can't put it in his race. And I know a lot of people ask: Why? Well, I'm standing here as a human today, so I'll never know the answer.”
Wolford revealed that the highest accusations of Perps' suspicions have increased to first-degree murder as Nordquist was tortured.
One of the suspects, the precious Alzuaga, was accused of forcing two children to participate in alleged abuse.
The other six people slapped for murder include Patrick Goodwin, Kyle Sage, Jennifer Kijano, Emily Motica, Kimberly Sochia and Thomas Eeves.
The two children have not been identified.
It came after Nordquist, who arrived in New York in September and lost contact with his loved one this year, was reported to have gone missing on February 9th.
His body was found to be wrapped in plastic and was dumped into the field a few days later.
