Pope Francis Shows ‘Slight Improvement,’ Shares Short Audio Message

Pope Francis has been reported as “stable” by the Vatican, releasing a short audio message.

On Thursday, the Holy See released a short audio message recorded that day by the Pope.

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your prayers for my health from the square. I will accompany you from here,” he said.

“May God bless you, and your virgin guard you, Argentina said in Spanish in his home country.

The message was aired in St. Peter's Square, where prayers for the Pope are held every night.

The Vatican said Thursday that Francis was in a “stable” state and that he had no repeated respiratory failure.

February 14thththe Pope was admitted to a Rome hospital after his bronchitis began to worsen.
