John Goodman is currently under repair after suffering injuries on the set of the film.
“John Goodman has experienced a lower back injury,” said Warner Bros. Pictures spokesman. I spoke to variety. “He was immediately seen by a doctor, which led to a short delay in the shooting to make sure he could recover.”
“Production will resume filming next week after John's full recovery.”

The 72-year-old actor was injured while working in director Alejandro Gonzalez Inalitu's latest film. Goodman and Warner Bros. Pictures representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. The incident occurred at Pinewood Studios, UK. The Iñárritu film is currently untitled, but it will be released on October 2, 2026.
According to IMDB, Goodman stars alongside Tom Cruise, who is also listed as a film producer.

Meanwhile, the Roseanne alum has recently been in the spotlight for its dramatically slimming appearance.

Goodman previously revealed that he has lost more than 200 pounds since his first embarking on the Health Journey in 2007.
In a 2023 interview with Rolling Stone, Goodman revealed how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected his training routine.
“It was just going outside and walking the dog,” he told the outlet. “I was boxing up until then, but I'm lazy and I couldn't do it since Covid.”

Goodman hovered over 400 pounds before switching his lifestyle completely. Despite extreme weight loss, Goodman admitted that avoiding pounds was not easy and he returned to an sometimes unhealthy routine.
