Firebugs Destroy 4 Tesla EVs in Berlin

In a series of incidents that unfolded overnight, the arsonists destroyed four Tesla EVs in Berlin, Germany, as violence and destruction against Elon Musk and his car company.

Newsweek Report Earlier on Friday morning, the Berlin arsonist committed a wave of attacks targeting Tesla vehicles as the backlash against Elon Musk and his electric vehicle company escalated globally. According to German police, four Tesla EVs are on fire in the neighborhoods of Princelwald and Steglitz, and authorities have not ruled out the possibility of political motivation behind the incident.

The first car fire was reported around 1:40am local time, followed by a fire that was reported all night. No injuries were reported, but all four target vehicles were completely destroyed and five nearby vehicles suffered minor damage from the fire. The Berlin Police Department says the investigation has been taken over by the state security department of the Berlin Criminal Police Department, a force investigating threats to the state, including terrorism, extremism and organized crime.

The arson attack on Berlin's Tesla vehicles is not an isolated incident as they follow the wave of rebel protests that emerged in the wake of his appointment as Director of Government Efficiency in President Donald Trump's administration. Furthermore, ahead of the national general election in February, support from the German AFD party in Musk has further promoted dissatisfaction, with many protests targeting Tesla plants across the country.

Electric vehicle companies have also been working on a decline in stock prices in recent months, with many expecting a partial decline in mask political activity. In addition to fierce competition and outdated models, Musk's strong support for Europe's Trump and the Sovereign Party has undermined the company's reputation with an overwhelmingly left-wing customer base.
