Police and sources said the 18-year-old student was stabbed in the back near Manhattan High School during his firing Monday.
According to the NYPD, the victim, a student at Martin Luther King High School, was turned into a knife on West 56th and 10th Avenues around 3:02pm.
The attack unfolded about 10 blocks south of the student's school.
The school's safety agents reportedly are only a few yards away from the independent high school, sources reportedly.
The teenagers were taken to the mountains on the morning side of Sinai in a stable state.
Interested people are in custody, but it is not clear what kind of relationship they had with the victims and the school, the NYPD said Monday night.
