Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer told the host of “The View” Tuesday morning that the US-owned “oligarchs” keep him in the evening despite their relationship with the billionaire Soros family.
“I wake up at 3am and sometimes I'm worried about the future of this country under these oligarchs,” Schumer said in “the scenery.”
Mega-Donor George Soros donated millions to Schumer's Senate Majority PAC during the 2024 election, and Schumer maintains a well-documented relationship with the son of a billionaire, Alex Soros.
The campaign finance report revealed that the Democratic PAC II, funded primarily by Soros, gave the Senate majority PAC $2.5 million in 2024, Fox News confirmed. The Democracy PAC II gave $3.5 million in the 2022 calendar year and $2.5 million in the 2021 calendar year, totaling $6 million, records show.

Visitor Logs' Fox News digital review shows that Alex visited the White House six times between October 2021 and December 2022 during the administration of former President Joe Biden. White House officials confirmed to Fox News Digital that the two visits were with Biden's Chief of Staff, Ron Klain.
Alex's social media presence consistently unveiled his ties with major Democrats, including House Leader Haicum Jeffries, former chairman of House Nancy Pelosi, and Sen. D-Ariz's Senator Reuben Gallego, 2024's most contested Barot Race candidate.
Biden awarded George Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom in January, and Alex accepted in his honor.

“His moving generosity reminds us that we stand up to the abuse of our capabilities and power, and that we are the guardian of democracy and that all people long for freedom,” he said at the ceremony.

Moveon.org, a group that has hosted millions from Soros and his Open Society Policy Center in recent years, led the initiative “Work for Congress, not masks” and closed down city halls and Republican offices across the country.

The National Students for Palestine Justice, a national organisation at the forefront of the Palestinian Pro-Columbia University protest, have accepted a financial sponsorship from the Westchester Peace Action Committee Foundation (WESPAC). Fox News Digital reported last year that Wespac received six-figure donations from a nonprofit funded by the Soros network.
Democrats also turned to wealthy agents on the 2024 campaign trail. Former Vice President Kamala Harris hosted events with celebrities such as Beyoncé, Eminem, Bruce Springsteen and Mark Cuba.

Despite the recorded relationships with Democrats' own billionaire donors, the term “oli head” has been used by Democrats to describe President Donald Trump's second term.

The event will be billed as an opportunity to discuss how we will take on the greed of the billionaire class and create a government that will work for everyone, not just for the minority.
Democrats invited billionaires like Musk, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg to the inauguration, and Biden used the term “oli head” in his farewell speech.
“Today, in America, the Olivia of extreme wealth, power and influence is taking shape, which literally threatens our entire democracy, fundamental rights and freedom, and the fair shot for everyone to move forward,” Biden told Americans on Jan. 13.

Schumer defended his leadership on the “view” following his decision to avoid government shutdowns and then vote for a Republican spending bill to cancel the suspension on the tour over “security concerns.”
“We're fighting teeth and claws in every way possible, but you have to fight them wisely. If you led yourself to shut down, then musk, doge, Vought, they wanted a shutdown.
Schumer said he wanted to shut down the government to “cut taxes for the wealthiest Americans,” including “Maga's right-wing Republicans” and director Musk and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Russell Vert.

“The right-wing Republicans in Maga dream of destroying the government. Do you know why they do that? They want tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. I felt an obligation to stop it because they want to destroy the government, give everything to the wealthy people and remove any regulations they may have.”
Schumer said “wealthy and greedy” Republicans are grabbing their strength from those who chuckle Republicans who want to protect their hard-earned money from tax increases.
