The nation's eyes will become the nation's greatest wrestler at the NCAA Championship in Philadelphia this weekend, and President Trump is there to cheer them on.
On Tuesday, Outkick's Clay Travis posted to X that he was traveling to Philadelphia with the president to watch the wrestling championship.
“See you this weekend!” replied White House Press Secretary Caroline Lewitt.
Trump will be attending the Clash, the biggest star of college wrestling on Saturday night, for the sport's biggest award, the national championship.
With news of the commander's arrival throughout Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Arena, where the championship takes place, two of the sport's biggest stars spoke about the meaning of the president attending.

Another university and Olympic legend, Minnesota heavyweight Gable Steveson, said Trump's attendance was “great” for college wrestling.
“That's great,” Steveson said. “I think even supporting wrestling, regardless of who the president is, is a great factor. We're going to do a good show for him. He shows up on Saturday nights and he's coming to see some of the best wrestling on the planet.
“Heavyweight Steveson is about to finish his undefeated season with his third title two years ago in pursuit of the MMA and NFL.” York Daily Records Report.
“The Wrestling Championship is back at Wells Fargo Center for the first time since 2011, when Pennsylvania took advantage of her hometown to win everything,” Fox News reports. “It started a dominant run by the Nittany Lions that are still going, winning eight of the last three titles, eight of the last three titles.
“With a victory, this will be the third four peat in that stretch.”
