In the ongoing battle between Maine and President Donald Trump, Governor Janet Mills, according to the president, remained silent.
In a Truthful Social Post on Saturday morning, Trump said he had “not heard” from Mills since last month's announcement of trans athletes competing in girls and women's sports.
“Maine has apologised for the governor being strong but completely wrong, but I have never heard of a statement from the governor herself about a man playing in women's sports at the White House Governor's Conference. She is a key person in such cases.” Trump said.

“Therefore, we need a full throat apology from the governor herself and a statement that she will not again take such an illegal challenge to the federal government, before we can resolve this case. I am sure she can do it very easily.
