Gal Dalal warns his brother, Guy, is running out of time in Hamas captivity

Gal Dalal spent a year and a half fighting for the release of his brother Gilboa Dalal, who was lured to Hamas at the Nova Music Festival in the attack in Israel on October 7, 2023.

Dalal wants the world to know who his brother is and why it is urgent to drive a man out of Gaza before he becomes the face of the poster.

“So my brother is the warmest guy I know. He's a very funny guy,” Dalal told Fox News Digital. “To me, he's actually my best friend. We share the same interests and hobbies and do everything together.”

On October 7, 2023, Guy experienced his first spiritual festival with a friend when a more experienced festival fan gal joined the group around 6:15am and joined the group within 15 minutes when the attack began.

Dalal told Fox News Digital that when he arrived at the festival, the excited man hugged him before running as he pulled his phone to take a selfie for his mother.

“That's the only reason I went there [to the Nova music festival] I was going to watch over him. And, you know, the fact that I came back without him is that is the worst part for me,” Dalal told Fox News Digital.

Neither Dalal brothers would have known what would come next. When the sirens began to sound, Dalal told Fox News Digital that the group had suggested they go to his apartment and that they had agreed. While Dalal was in his car, the man decided to go with his friends. Dalal estimates it took another 10 minutes before the man and his friends left the festival area. At this point, the rocket sirens rang out, but they weren't worried.

“we [are] Used for these alarms. we [are] It was used to attack missiles, but no one thought it would be a terrorist attack on this kind of scale,” Dalal told Fox News Digital.

Rocket attack safety protocols are widely known in Israel. Depending on the distance from Gaza, the time to search for shelters is specified. Many of the Nova Festivals ran to shelters on the side of the road, but later proved to be fatal. Hamas terrorists used shelters to commit mass murder. They would throw hand-rena bullets into groups of people, many of which did not survive.

Dalal told Fox News Digital that outside the festival he sat in traffic for about 20 minutes before listening to the filming. From there he ran for hours for life. He was too far away to go back for the man, but the two were able to last talk on the phone before the man was taken hostage.

On October 7th, the Dalal family discovered that the man and his best friend, Evyatar David, had been held hostage. Hamas has released a video of two men who have already been lured in Gaza. Guy and Evyatar went to the festival with two other friends. Both were killed.

Dalal and his family have spent the past 17 months claiming the release of all hostages, including Guy.

“I always have one hand and say we're very tired. We're literally on the edge. This fight is taking so much away from us. What we really care about is knowing he's fine and protecting him, knowing that my brother is protecting him. Help him heal.

Recently, the Dalals received signs of life, but it was not a relaxed sight. Guy and Eviyatar were forced to participate in Hamas propaganda video. There, he was forced to sit in a van and be released hostages, slamming the door into the face.

Dalal told Fox News Digital that the video brought him back to October 7th and showed “psychological torture” that hostage families endure. He says it is clear that his brother and Eviater are “starved for death.”

“The negotiation takes more time and it's scary that the guy doesn't have time,” Dalal told Fox News Digital. But he believes President Donald Trump and the United States have the power to bring hostages home.

In the fight for his brother's freedom, Gal traveled to the United States and met with members of both the Biden and Trump administrations. He said he felt it was “not” to meet Trump officials and that they knew that the time wasn't on their side.

“I think the only person who can really put pressure on them and bring these hostages back and make sure they return to their families is that President Trump and the United States as a nation, you have the power and the support they need to make sure the hostages return and return home,” Dalal told Fox News Digital.
