Trump yanks Secret Service protection for ex-DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas

President Trump has elicited Secret Service protections for former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the federal agency confirmed Monday evening.

Mallorcas, the former White House's voluntary attitude towards illegal immigration, was initially extended to the security details provided by then-President Biden for six months before Trump was cut short this week..

The Secret Service would have been with Mallorcas by mid-July if it hadn't been disposed of.

“Each presidential memorandum of execution eliminated the protective details of former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mallorcas,” a spokesman for the Secret Service told the post.

“We cannot comment on details of safeguards and methods to ensure the integrity of our operations.”

Mayorkas is the latest Biden era figure who loses security after Hunter and Ashley Biden, the former president's two adult children, lost details last week.

Anthony Fauci, retired director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, also lost his Secret Service agent earlier this month at Trump's instructions.

Trump also removed the protections given to his former Secretary of State between his first term, Mike Pompeo and former national security advisor John Bolton amid threats to life from Iran.

The Secret Service was notified on Friday that Mallorcas has lost his protection, The Washington Post reported.

Trump shared a Truth Social Headline on Monday about revoking Secret Service protections.

Emails to the White House were not immediately returned.
