Glenn Jacobs, a former WWE legend known as Kane, now the mayor of Tennessee, said he was willing to agree to the provisions for a wrestling style match against Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz on Tuesday.
Knox County Mayor Jacobs appeared on Outkick's to explain more about his ideas for the match “Ricky Cobshaw.” It came after Waltz claimed on a podcast by California Gov. Gavin Newsom that he could kick the butts of most supporters of Donald Trump.

“Obviously, my first reaction when I saw what he said was, 'You're kidding me, are Tim Waltz saying that?' And then I thought to myself, 'Wait a minute, this might be really cool.' You can play charity wrestling matches, it's fun, and the revenue is a good reason.
“We will split the gate 50/50 between the selected organization and the selected organization. I have no intention of hurting him. I promise. I asked who I worked with.

Jacobs said he believes the waltz will be fun and that he may become friends after the two of them leave the square ring.
“And what he's trying to find is actually fun and I think we can become friends after that. I think we're going to be against politics, but I think we've become friends.
