Aaron Solomon was previously an anchor for WSMV Channel 4 News. The couple divorced in 2014.
An affidavit for Angie’s arrest said her ex-husband wanted to die so that her daughter, Gracie Solomon, had access to the trust fund.
“April 1, 2025, about 2:15pm. Angelia Solomon met with a secret law enforcement officer acting as a “hitman” in the 1800 Galleria Boulevard Franklin parking area in Williamson County. The affidavit says.

The family made headlines years ago when Aaron and Angie’s son, Grant Solomon, was killed in July 2020 by fleeing to his car, the Toyota Tacoma, outside the baseball training center in Gallatin, Tennessee.
