Trump appoints Fox News host Mark Levin and others to lead ‘revamped’ Homeland Security Advisory Council

President Trump has appointed Fox News host Mark Levin and many others to lead his “improved” Homeland Security Advisory Committee.

“We are proud to announce the establishment of an improved Homeland Security Advisory Committee. [HSAC]Trump spoke on the Truth Social Post on Thursday.

Levin, host of Fox News’ Life, Liberty & Levin, will be joined by former NYPD detective Bo Dietl, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster, and Florida Sen. Joseph Gluters.

“It’s a great honor to serve at the HSAC. I know that South Carolina Governors Henry McMaster, Mark Levin, Boatour and Joseph Gluters will do incredible jobs,” Trump continues.

“Under the leadership of Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem, the HSAC will work hard to develop new policies and strategies that will help secure borders, deport illegal criminal thugs, stop the flow of fentanyl and other illegal drugs killing citizens, and make America safe again.”

Levin, who publicly criticised Trump’s administrators for recent months regarding Ukraine, quickly thanked the president and wrote about X: “What an honor! Thank you, President!”

That comes after the DHS Advisory Committee was among those who were disbanded as soon as Trump took office.

At the time, the administration said moves were being made to prevent “resource misuse” after the Biden administration’s disastrous attempt to create a Big Brother-style “Disformation Governance Committee.”
