The mayor of New York opposed critics of his city’s immigration enforcement efforts, saying, “ICE is not a criminal organization.” His comments followed the arrests of more than 200 criminal foreigners, most of whom have committed “bad” crimes since entering the United States illegally.

Over the past week, US immigration and customs enforcement officers and agents have worked with other federal agencies to arrest 206 illegal aliens in the New York City metropolitan area. Those arrested included convicted sexual predators and drug lords, the report said.
“New York is much safer today due to the hard work of ice and our law enforcement partners,” Todd Lyons, director of acting ice, said in writing. “Through this enhanced enforcement project, we have targeted the most dangerous alien criminals in some of the most crime-detected areas in and around New York City. Our efforts have led to 206 arrests in just a week.”
“One of the big mistakes being made in parts of the left and right philosophy is that ICE is a criminal organization. They aren’t. They are part of our law enforcement community.” I said Fox News, “We have to get bad and dangerous people out of the streets.”

Of the 206 people arrested, ICE said 121 have been found primary criminal convictions or are currently facing charges of murder, assault, arson, sex crimes, drug crimes and firearm crimes.
Among those arrested is a 58-year-old Mexican citizen named Adnan Paulino Flores.
Another 51-year-old illegal from Ecuador, named Jaime Gustavo Quizpi Romero, has a criminal history including arrests for assault with intent to cause physical damage from weapons and equipment and strangles, which interferes with breathing and blood circulation, causing serious injuries.
The field office director of Ice Enforcement and Removal Operations New York added: “The success of this enhanced operation highlights the security of ice and federal partners from violent criminals.”
“Through this enhanced enforcement project, we have targeted the most dangerous alien criminals in and around New York City,” the Lions said. “ICE is dedicated to our mission to prioritize public safety by arresting and eliminating illegal foreign criminals from the communities of this great country.”
