The administration of Gov. Phil Murphy (D-NJ) is reportedly balancing its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) from public schools, in response to requests from federal authorities.
State Department of Education I answered Request from the US Department of Education’s Civil Rights Office after being asked to reaffirm compliance with Civil Rights Act and the Supreme Court decision Fair enrollment students vs Harvard Through fresh authentication, according to the Shore News Network.
In his letter Thursday on the issue, state Department of Education Kevin Demar said his office was unaware of changes to federal law or regulations that meant more certifications were needed.

The letter argues that federal requests refer to “specific DEI practices” or “illegal DEIs” without defining conditions. In April, the Trump administration ordered K-12 schools to prove they had cut DEI policies, the Associated Press reported.
It is also interesting to note that New Jersey Attorneys for the New Jersey District are paying attention to the news that New Jersey’s lawyers have arrived. The office said it is investigating Murphy and New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin to not direct them to not cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on specific warrants for each Breitbart News.
