Patty Morin, the mother of the murdered Maryland woman Rachel Morin, spoke of her daughter’s brutal death, telling a politician leader who has failed to enforce immigration, telling her family about the brutal death of her daughter, a burning criticism of the media, a failed immigration enforcement.

“She was raped. She was strangled. Some of her body had no bruising, wear or cuts of any kind,” Morin told Fox News Digital.

Last week, Morin joined White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt on the podium to discuss her daughter’s August 2023 murder.

“As soon as I stood on the podium, everyone blocked the cameras. No one wanted to record it live except for Fox News,” she said. “They didn’t want to know the American people how violent these crimes were and how rampaging they were.”

She criticized the mainstream media for her perceived as a deliberate effort to downplay crimes involving immigrants.

“It was very sad to see the state of our media and how they have the particular story they want to play. They want to promote that story, not only do you present facts and authentic journalism that makes Americans decide themselves,” she said.

Morin is D-Md. He calls Sen. Chris Van Hollen and flies to El Salvador last week to defend Kilmer Abrego Garcia.

Rep. Robert Garcia of California, Maxwell Frost of Florida, Yassamine Ansari of Arizona and Maxine Dexter of Oregon flew to El Salvador on Monday to help Garcia, who was deported from Maryland.

“They want to defend his cause, the criminal, rather than the victim,” she said. “Americans, especially Maryland, are furious. This political stunt he pulled.”

“It shows I’m worthless, so just talking about it makes me mad. My daughter was worthless to them and she was incredibly valuable to me.”

In tears, Morin spoke about how her Christian faith maintained her loss.

“I know that God is there and that he is sovereign over everything… I want to praise God in my life and in my words.”

As she turns to the future, Morin says she plans to rest and reorganize after months of appearing in the media.

“I’m tired. I’m going to leave for a few weeks to actually get emotional rest,” she said. “But I didn’t say anything and couldn’t allow another life to perish, so I had to talk and tell the truth.”
