Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland had the words of choice for women to fly to the edge of space, chosen by Jeff Bezos’s fiance.
The new Shepard programme, launched by Bezos’ Blue Origin, featured an all-female crew consisting of singer Katy Perry, CBS host Gayle King, activist Amanda Nguyen, scientist Aisha Bowe, filmmaker Kerianne Flynn, and Bezos’ Fiancée and Lauren Sanchez.
Telled as the greatest event ever to advance space exploration for women, the crew of celebrities took an 11-minute trip over 62 miles of Earth to the official boundary of space, the Kalman Line.
After the flight came home, Perry and the others were ocked for their excessive dramatic drama. To do this, Perry kissed the ground and raised Daisy into the sky to signal the daughter of the same name. Perry also told reporters that he felt “it’s very connected to life” and “it’s tied to love.”
Not only did Perry sing “What a Wonderful World” while halting in space, he also got the opportunity to view a set list for upcoming tours on one of the spaceship’s cameras.
The backlash from the propaganda stunts was quick and powerful, including Strickland, who was unstoppable when it came to criticizing Perry’s actions.
“I’m just realising girls who like to write songs like, ‘I kissed girls and I liked it.’ page. “What do you expect a group of famous spiritually developed women to do in space?”
At this point, you might expect harsh words from Strickland, but he wasn’t the only celebrity to laugh at the situation. Female celebrities didn’t particularly care about the ordeal pageantry. Some criticized the idea that the event was a historical achievement for women.
Actresses Olivia Wilde and Olivia Munn took shots on a female crew due to lack of self-awareness.
“Is it historical that you guys are on? I think it’s a bit of a groan,” Mann said in an interview.
“Billion Dollars bought some good memes I’d guess,” Wild I wrote it.
Model Emily Ratakovsky called the event “beyond parody,” and she said “literally, I’m tired of it.”
Singer Camila Cabello laughed at Perry in particular to promote tours on a very important space trip Posted Slow motion parody video of her own tour dates. The video was captioned. “We didn’t have the budget to fly into space to promote our tour dates, so we made this ticoku instead.”
Spaceflight was in fact intended to serve as a groundbreaking event to showcase the importance of women in space. Instead, it was received in 2025 as a shameless promotion in the life of a wealthy woman who was able to make an ultra-exclusive trip, equivalent to the universe.
