People in My Area Aren’t as Concerned About Border Because Numbers Fell

In News Nation’s “Balance” aired on Wednesday, Senator Henry Culler (D-TX) said that in his area there isn’t much discussion about the border due to a decline in the number of borders, but people still want strong security.

After Kuller said he rarely heard about Kilmer Abrego Garcia’s deportation from people in his district, host Leland Vittert asked why Democrats are focused on the issue if voters don’t seem to.

Cuellar replied that he didn’t want to talk to him for his colleagues. He said, “The numbers have dropped at this border. People in my area don’t talk much about the border as the numbers have decreased. But they’re still –.”

Vitter then cuts to ask Kuerard if he will become a Republican, replies that Kuerard has been talking about the border longer than the Republicans, joking with the Republicans, saying, “They are happy to understand what we’re talking about the border right now.”
