The Dark Blue California school district voted to ban men from competing in women’s sports.
The Redlands Unified School Board in San Bernardino County, Southern California, voted in favor of banning trans athletes in a 3-2 vote.
“I’m so grateful that this madness wasn’t coming into society when I was growing up.” I said Board member Candy Olson;
“If people think there’s no difference between men and women, they’re denial of science.”
Redlands executive Trishakiling won a sharp exception to the vote while saying there are no trans athletes in the district. She also accused the transban supporters of causing no issues.
“The Redlands should not support this form of discrimination,” she said.
The Redlands will join fellow California school district Chino Valley to vote to ban trans athletes.
“It’s not controversial, it’s common sense,” said Sonja Shaw, chairman of the Chino Valley Show Committee, who traveled to Redlands to vote. “We’re here to share common sense again.”
The vote comes shortly after a recent poll of Californians. This shows that the majority of voters in that state do not agree to allow trans athletes to compete in women’s sports.
“In a new poll, 65% of California voters believe that transgender-identifying athletes “should play on a team that suits sex rather than gender identity,” reported Breitbart’s Catherine Hamilton. “The survey was conducted by California’s Nonpartisan Public Policy Institute, and found that nearly half of the state’s Democrats agreed.”
