Syndicate Radio host Hugh Hewitt told Fox News Friday that federal authorities appear to be filing an “open” lawsuit against Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan.
Federal agents arrested Dugan on Friday morning after allegedly assisting illegal immigrants who faced violent crime charges to avoid immigration authorities on April 18. During a panel discussion on the “Special Report,” Hewitt responded to reports that FBI agents had arrested Dugan, who allegedly helped Eduardo Flores Lewis.
“I’ve heard from all legal experts ideologically that there appears to be some obstruction here, but that’s a crime,” host Brett Byer said.
“Yeah, I don’t think that’s a close case,” Hewitt said. “I heard the Attorney General’s story. [Pam] Bondi has previously spoken about how the judge, along with the defendant’s lawyer, escorted the defendant, who was being investigated from the back door, to avoid the ice people in the hallway after he engaged in a match screaming with them. ”
Hewitt said the judges are respected, but they don’t go beyond the law.

“Everyone is subject to the same law in the US. Robes are not invisible cloaks. I think they are chilling their rights. I don’t know what will happen. I don’t know what punishment will be for obstruction and concealment, but General Bondy has built the facts. She broke the law. Bondi warned that judges supporting illegal immigration in avoiding law enforcement will face prosecution.
“They’re all I can think of. I think some of these judges think they’re not beyond the law. “And today we’re sending a very strong message. [that] If you have a fugitive, we don’t care who you are. If you’re helping to hide it, if you’re giving TDA [Tren de Aragua] Anyone who is illegal in this country, we will come after you and prosecute you. We will find you. ”
Federal authorities arrested Dugan a day after authorities were detained for former New Mexico Democratic judge Jose “Joel” Cano and his wife for allegedly carrying members of the Tren de Aragua gang. Kano and his wife filmed a video of them being handcuffed by FBI agents outside the Rasluch home as they conducted a homeland security investigation and a search and arrest warrant.
