Most disapprove of Trump's job as president ahead of 100-day mark: Poll

A new poll shows that the majority of Americans have disapproved President Trump’s job performance ahead of his 100th day term in this term.

55% of Americans in An NBC News continues waiting polls On Sunday, when it was released, he said Trump disapproved of handling his first few months ago inauguration. This includes 42% who “strongly disapproved” and 13% who “slightly disapproved”;

Meanwhile, of 45% of respondents who said they approved Trump’s job performance, 26% said they “strongly approve” and 19% said they “are slightly approve.”

The president is scheduled to go to Michigan for a rally on Tuesday, where he is scheduled to mark his first 100-day inauguration.

“President Trump is excited to return to Michigan’s Great State next Tuesday, where he will be rallying in Macomb County to celebrate his first 100 days!” White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said in a post on Social Platform X last week.

Trump’s return to the White House is characterized by widespread and enthusiastic actions on a wide range of issues, and his moves on immigration and trade have led to some of the most intense blowbacks ever.

When asked “Acknowledge or disapprove the way Donald Trump handles border security and immigration issues,” 49% of NBC News said the vote was approved, with 51% saying they disapproved.

Meanwhile, 61% of respondents disapproved Trump’s handling of trade and tariffs, while 39% said they approved his efforts. Similarly, 60% said they opposed how Trump handled inflation and cost of living, while 40% said they supported handling the issue.

NBC News conducted a tuned poll of 19,682 US adults from April 11-20, with an overall margin of estimated error of 2.2 percentage points.
