Sunny Hostin Accuses Republican Lawmakers Of “Damaging This Country” On ‘The View’: “Trump Voters Are Realizing They Were Lied To”

Sunny Hostin denounced Republican lawmakers View Monday morning when she and her co-hosts reflected the future of Democrats and Republican parties under the Trump administration.

Hostin shockedly suggested that Democrats should “get out of Republican ways.”

“I think all that Democrat officials should do is that Republicans are causing harm to this country, so they need to get out of the Republican ways.

“I really think now I feel like people are going to be more involved,” she later said.

However, Sarah Haynes recommended that the party gather around the central message and platform to win future elections.

“I don’t think Democrats should just be occlusivists… Democrats need to avoid the message, they just say, ‘We’re not Trump’ and they can’t run in the midterm or federal elections,” she said.

The woman has recently been caught up in a fierce debate over a Democrat “civil war” after House minority leader Chuck Schumer supported the Republican spending bill.

Hostin said Schumer was supposed to be fighting for the American people who felt the way they felt,” and told her “everyday” and “they don’t feel like they’re fighting for them.”

After Hostin denounced Schumer as a “cave” to the GOP, Haynes defended Schumer’s controversial move.

“If he hadn’t admitted it, it would have been worse,” she said.

However, Hostin did not retreat from her criticism of Schumer. “He gives the GOP the report and do whatever they want to do!” she fought back.

View It will air on ABC on weekdays on November 10th.
