On Friday, Greg Gutfeld from Fox remarked that Democrats are portraying illegal immigrant Kilmer Armando Abrego Garcia as a sort of “Rosa Parks with Tatt” to resonate with voters.
Democrats rallied behind Abrego Garcia following his deportation to a MegaPrison in El Salvador by the Trump administration in March. While addressing accusations connecting him to MS-13 and human trafficking, Gutfeld emphasized that Republicans should exercise “incredible patience.”
“Abrego is from Maryland, right? I mean, Ted Bundy is branded as a dating guru. The Unabomber had pen pals. Charles Manson had his followers. We’ve had to endure an endless glorification of criminals, now they’re trying to spin him with Tatt, I don’t quite get it,” he said.
“We saw this coming. It was inevitable—like Jussie Smollett. We had to bite our tongues as Democrats went through their stages of faux rage. We knew—it just needed time. What’s next? They’ll change the narrative. Suddenly, it won’t be about the father in Maryland. It’s about all of us,” Gutfeld noted.
After Abrego Garcia’s deportation caused a stir, the Trump administration escalated his case to the U.S. Supreme Court, claiming that despite errors in initial court documentation, his connections to MS-13 warranted his stay in El Salvador. The Justice Department later issued a report detailing Abrego Garcia’s relationship with MS-13. In addition to revisiting prior claims, new evidence emerged showing that he had been stopped while driving a vehicle tied to a convicted human smuggler.
“No, it’s not about all of us. You made it about your father in Maryland. This is a hill you chose to die on, and you’re stuck with it. They seem to consistently pick the wrong battles,” Gutfeld argued. “Whether it’s trans athletes, left-wing lawmakers who’ve harmed animals, or those protesting for causes, if you’re searching for a problem, look for a Democrat defending one.”
“And who are the real villains? People like Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Daniel Penny—individuals genuinely trying to make a difference,” Gutfeld stated.
On Thursday, law enforcement in Tennessee released traffic stop footage featuring Abrego Garcia alongside eight other men. State troopers had contacted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but agents did not detain Abrego Garcia. According to Fox News Digital.
“But I don’t believe the Democrats truly care about this guy. They’re not concerned about the victim, just about their own image and accumulating political capital. Who are the real victims? They seem indifferent unless they face something like carjacking or robbery themselves.”
