The Ravens are facing a challenging situation regarding punter Justin Tucker.
Recently, Tucker has been accused of sexual misconduct by 16 massage therapists in the Baltimore area, leading to an investigation by the NFL. The Ravens, however, characterized their recent decision as a “football decision.”
Repeatedly, Tucker has denied these allegations, labeling them as “explicitly false.”
General manager Eric DeCosta commented, “Making decisions about the team can be very tough, and this is just one example. Given our current roster, we decided to release Justin Tucker. He has delivered many significant and unforgettable moments in Ravens’ history. His reliability, focus, drive, resilience, and extraordinary talent have set him apart as the best kicker in the league for over ten years.”
DeCosta added, “We genuinely wish him and his family the best as they navigate this new chapter in their lives.”
