Dave Portnoy states that the offer to a man accused of being associated with an antisemitic sign has been canceled.

Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, announced on Monday that he has withdrawn an offer of “a moment to be taught” to one of the individuals reportedly involved in displaying anti-Semitic signs at one of his bars.

This revelation came after a video surfaced over the weekend, showcasing the phrase “F- The Jews,” which quickly spread across social media platforms.

Initially, Portnoy reflected on the Holocaust experienced by Jews during World War II, expressing intentions to send the wrongdoers to Auschwitz, a concentration camp operated by the Nazis in Poland.

He mentioned that he had discussions with two men linked to the incident, who both acknowledged their responsibility for their actions over that weekend.

After seeing a lengthy Instagram post from a man named Mo Kahn, who claimed he had no involvement in the incident, Portnoy felt compelled to respond.

Kahn’s statement suggested that he was documenting the scene as a citizen journalist and emphasized that since the video’s circulation, he has been facing significant threats to his safety.

In his message, Kahn expressed his discontent, stating, “I hate it in all ways. I have been raised to be respectful and friendly to all people. I hope something positive can come from this incident.”

Portnoy contacted Kahn after noticing this post, feeling that Kahn was pressured to admit to actions he insisted he wasn’t part of.

Portnoy confronted him, saying, “Hey a hole, you uploaded this to Instagram.” Kahn responded defensively, claiming, “I didn’t put your f. Others uploaded it to Instagram.” Portnoy noted he was receiving numerous messages about Kahn’s involvement.

He expressed confusion over Kahn’s reluctance to explain other questionable social media posts, suggesting, “maybe my parents can explain that.” Portnoy was puzzled, feeling as though he was trying to facilitate a learning opportunity for someone who wasn’t taking it seriously.

“It’s like I’m trying to throw a lifeline at a child. He said, ‘Well, I’m already hanging from the temple,’ after posting that sign at the bar,” Portnoy remarked.

Portnoy concluded, expressing disbelief at Kahn’s failure to grasp the severity of the situation. He suggested that perhaps visiting Poland might offer Kahn a chance for true reflection and change.

Ultimately, Portnoy made it clear that he would not be sending Kahn anywhere.

“F—Sorry man, I tried to help you out and make something productive from this. Are you a ‘citizen journalist’ now?”

Fox News Digital attempted to reach Kahn for a comment through his social media, noting that some of his posts had been removed.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia police indicated that they were in the process of gathering information regarding the incident.
