The Indianapolis Colts pulled a controversial social media video Wednesday night, coinciding with the announcement of the NFL schedule for 2025.
This video was designed to unveil the team’s upcoming schedule in a creative way. One particularly notable clip featured Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill depicted as a dolphin interacting with the Coast Guard.
The Colts currently haven’t shared a schedule release video; notably, all the other 31 teams in the league have done so. The reasons behind the Colts’ video removal remain unclear, and attempts to get a comment from the team were unreturned.
Interestingly, Tyreek Hill had some legal troubles earlier this year. He was arrested in September by Miami-Dade police before a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars for reckless driving, speeding, and not wearing a seatbelt. The body camera footage from that encounter quickly went viral, stirring public discussion.
In the footage, Hill was initially stopped for speeding near Hard Rock Stadium. The interaction escalated, as he resisted some commands from officers, ultimately resulting in his handcuffing. He was released about 25 minutes later when his agent showed up.
This isn’t the only incident involving Hill. In April, reports emerged regarding a domestic dispute with his wife, Keeta Hill, at their condo in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The police were called to respond to an alleged ongoing attack, and documentation from the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department is available.
Requests for comments from Hill’s representatives have been made.
