The fact-challenged ‘Fact Checker’ is a source of propaganda.

The Washington Post’s “Fact Checker” column seems to be facing a significant challenge lately.

A new book titled *The Original Sin* reveals how the Biden administration has concealed evident issues regarding his declining health.

For instance, during last June’s D-Day event, there were moments when Biden appeared disconnected, and the headline “Meander in Chief” caught my attention, particularly as it pertains to Glenn Kessler’s writing.

Kessler awarded Biden “Four Pinocchios” to label some narratives as “False Stories.”

Jake Tapper, a co-author of the aforementioned book, remarks on the administration’s spin tactics.

He recalls a video where former President Obama discreetly helped guide Biden during an event. Tapper dismissed the interpretation as a “cheap fake.” In his view, the incident was genuine.

“This happened every time video surfaced of Biden seeming off or erratic. They labeled it as a cheap fake, yet it was quite real,” he pointed out.

Interestingly, not long after Kessler’s column, Biden participated in a presidential debate, leading to his eventual withdrawal from the campaign.

This isn’t the first instance scrutinized by the Fact Checker.

Back in 2021, Kessler claimed it was false that Biden dined with his son Hunter and Hunter’s business partner.

How did Kessler come to that conclusion? The White House had outright denied it, after all!

Yet, in March 2024, Kessler had to revise his stance, conceding that the dinner indeed occurred, confirming that the New York Post had been correct.

The lengths to which fact-checkers go to appease both parties seems to have reached a peak with a December column titled “Biden’s Hunter’s Pardon: Flip-Flop or Lies?”

This isn’t satire.

Kessler admitted it was unclear if Biden lied regarding his stance on forgiving his son.

In comparison, this situation could make Bill Clinton look inexperienced.

In February 2024, the Fact Checker posed the question, “Does Biden require new laws to address border issues?”

Former President Trump remarked on Kessler’s suggestion that new regulations might be necessary as he faced legal challenges during his first term.

We now know that there were indeed “Four Pinocchios” involved. Trump swiftly reversed Biden’s open-border policies, and the situation worsened without any new laws being passed. Yet, Kessler’s column remains unchanged.

This ongoing reality seems to clash with Kessler’s “facts.” Just how many inaccuracies should occur before there’s an acknowledgment of embarrassment?
