Suspected illegal hitman accused of four murders in Venezuela was permitted entry into the US, according to ICE.

U.S. immigration and customs enforcement agency reports indicate that a man, Anthony Fabian Marin La Torre, 42, is wanted in connection with four murders in Venezuela. He was arrested on May 2 in Grapevine, Texas, after being identified as a suspect in these killings.

La Torre was reportedly involved with the “Elcham” gang. Oddly enough, the Biden administration had previously released him and even granted him a work permit. This happened despite ICE being informed by Venezuelan authorities about La Torre’s alleged involvement in a killing back in February. He had entered the U.S. illegally in September 2022, which led to charges against him as an unacceptable foreigner.

Some reports claim that the U.S. government was not cooperating with the Venezuelan authorities at that time, which could explain why La Torre was granted a work permit.

Since then, however, Venezuela has established a deportation agreement with the Trump administration, improving communication between the two nations’ law enforcement agencies.

La Torre is currently being held at the Prairiland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, where he awaits deportation proceedings.

In related news, former President Trump emphasized his commitment to deporting criminal aliens during his second term. However, he faced significant challenges from Democrats and advocacy groups that stalled his progress through various court cases. This included a recent Supreme Court ruling against the use of an 18th-century law to deport individuals identified as terrorists.

“My team is doing an incredible job,” Trump stated. “There are obstacles at every turn, even from the Supreme Court, but I’m committed to sending violent criminals back home.”
