Joe Scarborough ridicules the report on Biden’s mental decline as ‘random stuff’

Scarborough Critiques Hur’s Report on Biden

Joe Scarborough from MSNBC recently expressed his concerns regarding Robert Hur’s controversial report from 2024. In a segment that resurfaced online, Scarborough questioned Hur’s motives, asking, “I wonder what kind of pasture he is wondering about?” He believed that the report revealed President Biden’s difficulties with certain memories, notably around the time of his son Beau’s passing and while he was Vice President.

Scarborough noted, “It struck me that he wasn’t really connected.” He even pointed out some physical signs, mentioning, “The tie knot probably suggested that. [Biden’s] left thumb has arthritis.” It’s a subtle way to convey the weight of the situation, I think. There’s a lot of underlying nuance there.

Biden’s Cognitive Struggles Highlighted

During the segment, co-host Mika Brzezinski asked Scarborough about his stance, “Where are you going to go with this?” Scarborough, appearing frustrated, replied, “I’m just saying this guy is random like that –!” He went on to argue that Hur should apologize for his remarks, even speculating on the implications behind them.

He added, “Does he want him to get tried? I think he’s doing that.” His tone conveyed uncertainty, and maybe a hint of skepticism about whether Hur genuinely hopes for Biden’s prosecution if Trump were to win again.

Leaked Audio Sheds Light on Biden’s Memory Issues

A pivotal audio leak from Hur’s interview with Biden has drawn widespread attention, especially as it touches upon the former president’s cognitive challenges. This audio became news after it revisited various topics, precisely more than a year after concerns about Biden’s memory had been raised. Interestingly, Hur’s earlier transcript, which was released last year, corroborated these memory lapses.

In the leaked conversation, when asked about the timing of some papers, Biden mixed up crucial details, referencing Beau Biden’s death while stating he was active in 2017 and 2018. At one point, he even asked, “When did Beau die?” and Hur had to remind him it was in 2015. The whole thing raises serious questions, don’t you think?
