WWE LFG: Who was the winner of the wrestling match?

WWE Legends and Future Greats Competition Results

In an exciting turn of events, Tyra May Steele and Jasper Troy emerged victorious in the “WWE Legends and Future Greats” competition this past Sunday. Their win secured them contracts with WWE NXT.

Steele claimed her victory over Zena Sterling, while Troy outperformed Shirohill, advancing them into the next phase of competition. Both athletes will now join the NXT brand, which is crucial for shaping WWE’s developmental roster.

“I’m really excited,” Steele shared in a recent interview. “I think I’ve become more patient through this process. It’s incredible—everything happens for a reason, even if it sometimes feels slow. I can’t wait to see what lies ahead and experience what the WWE Universe has to offer.”

Troy echoed similar sentiments, expressing eagerness to finally step into the ring. “I’m just ready for the story to unfold,” he commented. “It’s like anticipating a movie’s release, waiting to find my spot in it. But it’s funny, we’ve been working hard since we won, and it feels like everything is changing, yet time seems to drag on at the same time.”

Steele, whose real name is Tamira Mensa-Stocks, has a background that may resonate with fans. She is a decorated freestyle wrestler, having won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. Her accolades also include multiple gold medals at the World Championships and the Pan American Games.

She’s eager to make her mark in the NXT locker room, confidently preparing for her debut. “I bring a different standard to the table—an Olympic one. I want my fellow wrestlers to know this. It’s not easy, but I plan to push everyone who stands in my way.”

When she stepped into the NXT arena, others were already aware of the high standards she keeps. “People warned me that they wouldn’t take it lightly when I walked in. They’ll respect what I bring, even if it takes them time to appreciate it,” Steele mentioned.

Troy, known as Antoine Frazer, started with WWE nearly three years ago after playing college football. He has noticed the exceptional talent in the roster since joining. “Walking in, I saw a lot of potential. There’s serious competition, and it feels like everyone’s always trying to outdo each other. That’s something I thrive on.”

He’s ready to step up his game and make an impact. “I’m here to compete and contribute. I want to be a significant part of this team, not just someone who shakes hands and accepts compliments. I bring my A-game,” he stated.
