The left’s attack on families is genuine — and Hillary Clinton demonstrated this once more.

Clinton’s Remarks on Family Values

In a recent discussion at the 92nd Avenue YMCA in New York City, former first lady Hillary Clinton touched on a topic that resonates deeply with many. She expressed that some on the left perceive the traditional family structure as a conservative institution they aim to transform.

Clinton urged Americans to embrace parenthood, subtly critiquing the positions of figures like Elon Musk and Vice President JD Vance, who suggest leaving parenting roles to undocumented immigrants. This isn’t merely a disagreement over policy; it’s a reflection of the left’s underlying ideological beliefs about family that, if unchecked, could lead to significant societal changes.

The ongoing struggle between the values around life and family isn’t metaphorical; it is, in fact, quite palpable and violent.

There’s a perception that the left is against families because they oppose what many consider divinely supported values. The left’s agenda, according to this view, often seems more about dismantling than building, with families viewed as obstacles.

A recent violent incident at an infertility clinic in Palm Springs highlights this issue. The suspect’s manifesto explicitly called for a “war” against those who hold pro-family beliefs. It’s a striking example of a deeper, anti-life sentiment that seems to target anything associated with traditional family structures, from the unborn to the elderly.

One chilling line from the manifesto stated, “We must finally begin the process of sterilizing this planet of life’s disease,” leaving one to wonder what the broader agenda might be.

A Secular Perspective

Understanding these views requires acknowledging that the ideologies on the left are often steeped in secular humanism and Marxism, both of which can be seen as antagonistic toward divine authority. With a rejection of God and His principles, the left may naturally oppose everything that God values, pushing instead for a vision that elevates their own ideologies.

This contrasts sharply with the responsibilities that come with family, particularly regarding raising children who can contribute positively to society. Radical gender ideologies and confusions surrounding sexuality seem designed to inhibit children’s development into healthy adults capable of establishing families. Families, being foundational to societal structure, must be defended, as their erosion leads to a diluted identity.

Therefore, when Clinton suggests shifting away from traditional family models, it’s worth listening closely.

An Urgent Call

Yet, amidst these challenges, there’s an opportunity for hope. It’s imperative to uphold our commitment to family life, emphasizing the importance of marriage and child-rearing as purposeful acts against negative forces in the world. The biblical command to “be fruitful and multiply” resonates as a sacred mission that we should embrace.

We must remember the legacy of our ancestors and the divine interventions that helped shape our nation, reinforcing our identity. In biblical text, stones were set as reminders of God’s provisions—similar acts can instill a sense of purpose in future generations.

Violent actions, such as the recent attack on a fertility clinic, serve as stark reminders of the ongoing struggle for life and family values. It’s not merely a philosophical battle; it manifests in real ways. The left appears determined to undermine opposition to their anti-life, anti-family agenda.

However, we should not succumb to fear. By nurturing strong families, we can communicate and uphold our values, ensuring the sanctity of life remains at the forefront of our consciousness. Doing so honors the sacrifices of those who came before us. Families are not just societal constructs; they are divinely ordained, and preserving them is a vital calling for all of us.
