Netanyahu commends Trump's actions against Iran: 'Strength leads to peace'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed gratitude to President Trump on Saturday following the US military’s strike on Iranian nuclear sites.

In his words, “President Trump and I often say ‘peace through force.’ Initially, there will be peace. And tonight, President Trump and the United States demonstrated considerable force.”

He added, “Thank you, President Trump. Thanks to the people of Israel. Thanks to the forces of civilization. God bless America and bless Israel.”

Trump revealed on Saturday night that the US had targeted three Iranian nuclear facilities, declaring, “Now is the time for peace!”

Netanyahu commended Trump, noting that he “changes history” by making a bold choice to target Iran’s nuclear capabilities with significant US action.

Netanyahu emphasized Israel’s efforts in the conflict with Iran, stating, “But with tonight’s actions against Iran’s nuclear facilities, America isn’t really starving for action.”

No other nations can do what we do, he insisted. “History will remember. President Trump took action to thwart the world’s most dangerous regime and its most dangerous weapon,” the Israeli leader remarked.

He continued, claiming, “His leadership today has achieved something vital that will guide the Middle East and beyond towards a future of prosperity and peace,” referring to Trump.

The announcement of US military action came just two days after the White House indicated it would soon decide on Trump’s potential involvement in the ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel, intending to provide some clarity on negotiations.

Sources from the White House suggested that the US had taken precautionary steps prior to the strike on Iranian sites, and that Trump and Netanyahu communicated after the operation.

This marked a significant US involvement in a conflict that hadn’t seen resolution for over a week. It also reflected shifts attributed to Trump, who had previously aimed for a diplomatic resolution with Iran while signing an agreement concerning Tehran’s nuclear program.
