Amber Alert Issued for Missing Idaho Teens

In Idaho, officials have launched an amber alert for two teenagers who might be heading to Utah due to “religious beliefs.” This information has been gathered from local authorities and reports.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 13-year-old Allen Laland Fisher and 15-year-old Rachel Leray Fisher, who are reportedly members of the Church of Jesus Christ (FLDS). They are believed to have left Monteview, Idaho, and possibly returned to Trenton, Utah.

It’s worth noting that their sister, 18-year-old Erintra Dee Fisher, was reported missing earlier this year on January 1. The sheriff’s office suspects the younger siblings “were willing to leave to return to Trenton, Utah because of religious beliefs.”

As the investigation unfolds, the sheriff’s office indicated that detectives have not found any solid evidence about the vehicle associated with Rachel and Allen Fisher’s disappearance.

On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office stated, “When Rachel and Allen went missing, we confirmed that the vehicle originally reported to be involved had not traveled to Idaho.” They are currently focusing on the time frame of their disappearance, which was suspected to be between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 22.

At this stage, the sheriff’s office is “uncertain” whether the teens left the local area or if they remain nearby.

Their mother, Elizabeth Round, spoke to the media, sharing her background. She left the FLDS church in 2020 and described herself as having been involved in a polygamous marriage. “They consider me to be an apostate right now,” she mentioned. “I was sent to repentance, and I came back for my children, and I had to go through the court to get them back.”

Court documents reveal that Round had been awarded custody of Allen, Rachel, and Elintra, her youngest child.

Authorities suspect Elintra might help her brothers return to Utah, although this has not been confirmed. “They were just brainwashed and opposed to me,” Round added.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information on the missing teens to call their dispatch center at 208-745-9210 Option 7.
