Fourth of July Gas Prices Reach Lowest Point in Four Years

Gas Prices at Four-Year Lows as July 4th Approaches

Recently, CNN reported that gasoline prices have reached their lowest levels in four years, just in time for the July 4th weekend.

It’s interesting to think about how they must feel reporting this, given their usual stance. Smarmy John Berman probably had a tough time with the “four years” reference, especially since it essentially gave a nod to President Trump without including President Biden.

Experts in the U.S. have consistently warned that Trump’s tariffs could harm the economy, and they’ve also cautioned that tensions with Iran would drive gas prices up.

But, is it really possible that a short military engagement could dismantle Iran’s nuclear ambitions and affect CNN’s credibility?

Knock knock.

Who is there?

Orange.

Who is the orange?

It’s good that those “Orange people” aren’t in California, run by Democrats. With potential new gas taxes under Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, could we see prices rise by 65 cents?

It makes you wonder, why do so many people vote for Democrats these days? It feels almost like they’re choosing to be miserable.

In California, when gas hovers between $6 and $9 per gallon, it creates a tense environment.

On July 4th, with President Biden at the helm, the average price per gallon was $3.49. By this holiday weekend, we’re looking at prices between $3.10 and $3.15—down from $4.80 last year.

CNN has even noted a potential ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran, which could lower oil prices significantly. They’ve also acknowledged that lower inflation and rising wages are putting more cash in people’s hands.

It’s surprising, really. CNN is usually known for spinning the narrative. You might expect them to ignore anything positive about Trump, yet here they are discussing falling gas prices. It’s a bit of an oddity.

Typically, they manage to omit good news regarding Trump, potentially leading to future claims that gas prices are on the rise again, or absurdly attributing any decrease to Biden’s policies.

Even with Biden’s handling of gas prices being heavily criticized, it’s worth noting they’ve been keeping prices artificially low by tapping into strategic oil reserves.

Everything the Democrats touch seems to turn into a mess. I can only imagine the results if the Marxist Zohran Mamdani wins the mayoral race in New York City. Watching New Yorkers deal with their choices could be quite a spectacle.
