'Dancing With The Stars' Welcomes 'Mormon Wives' Stars Whitney Leavitt And Jen Affleck For Season 34

Mormon Wives Head to the Dance Floor

At the conclusion of the reunion for The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife, which aired on Hulu, viewers learned that Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck will be competing on Dancing with the Stars Season 34.

While most of the Momtok influencers tried out for dance shows during the filming of season 3, only two made the cut. Near the end of the reunion, host Nick Viall prompted the audience to express who they thought should be chosen, encouraging Affleck and Leavitt to raise their hands.

When discussing who should be selected, Taylor Frankie Paul said, “Jen, of course. She’s dreamed of this since she was a kid. But everyone here has a dancing background. You’ve been dancing your entire life.”

Initially, Viall told Affleck that she would be competing for the highly sought-after Mirror Ball Trophy in Season 34. Leavitt smiled and applauded, though her disappointment was apparent. Nonetheless, she vowed to support Affleck “front and center.”

This is when Viall dropped another surprise.

“Since everyone loves you both, we’re sending you two to Dancing with the Stars,” he announced, naming Leavitt as the second influencer going to Los Angeles. Leavitt leaped into her husband’s embrace, spinning in joy alongside Affleck.

Mikaila Matthews has had an ongoing rivalry with Leavitt since the first season of The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife. “Is this a new, unexpected friendship?” she quipped, perhaps a bit incredulously.

Affleck and Leavitt are the newest entries in a growing lineup for Season 34. Robert Irwin, the son of the late Steve Irwin, was the first confirmed contestant. Dancing with the Stars is set to premiere in the fall of 2025.

In the meantime, both women can be seen in the first two seasons of The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife, available for streaming on Hulu.
