Nicolas Cage Reflects on Brief Romance with Sarah Jessica Parker

Nicolas Cage recently opened up about his short-lived relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker. In a statement, the 61-year-old actor expressed his feelings, saying, “I cared about Sarah,” as reported by E! News.

Cage shared that one reason for their romance fading was that he “did not pass Mama’s test.” He explained a memorable dinner in a tea room in Russia with Parker and her mother, Barbara. However, it seems this encounter didn’t leave a lasting impression, as he noted that he hadn’t heard from her after that.

As of now, Parker’s representative hasn’t responded to requests for comments regarding Cage’s remarks. During a recent appearance on a Bravo talk show, when host Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica about dating Cage, she simply confirmed it, saying, “Um, yes, I did. Yes, I did.”

It’s interesting to note that this isn’t the first time they’ve crossed paths; Cage and Parker co-starred in a film called “Vegas on the Honeymoon,” which premiered in 1992. The timeline of their relationship remains a bit murky, but shortly after, Parker began dating Matthew Broderick, whom she married in 1997. They now have three children together.

Cage, who is now married to Rico Shibata, has had a total of five marriages. Interestingly, during his recent comments, he mentioned his “Blue Vanson Leather Bike Jacket” and even joked about sinus issues being part of the reason for their split.

Parker shared a nostalgic memory from their time together, recalling a moment when she was in a car, heading to a film set, and thought, “I love him.” It’s clear that while their romance was brief, it left some impressions on both sides.
