Alaska Airlines flight attendant repeatedly pounded his fists at a male passenger who was seen in a video recorded earlier this month, allegedly attacking a woman sitting in front of him.
Flight 2221 was scheduled to travel to Portland, Oregon from California's Oakland Airport on February 1, but an unruly passenger sat in front of him, according to an individual who posted a video of the wild scene. It is said that he attacked a woman.
“Let go of her hair, sir!”

“The flight attendant was called later [the unruly passenger] He grabbed the woman's hair in front of him and didn't let go, so the flight attendant began to start punching him with his throat,” the video poster wrote.
The video shows a flight attendant smacks an unruly passenger on the side of a fist that has been closed six times, forcing an unruly passenger to let go of a woman's hair.
Another woman can be heard screaming in the video, “Let go of her hair, sir!”
After he is forced to release the woman's hair, she leaves her seat and heads out into the aisle, and he lets out a loud cry.
Members of the flight crew who attacked him hear the passengers say, “I need another healthy man to come to help me.”

Alaska Airlines issued statement On unruly passengers, praising the actions of flight crew members.
“He appeared to be experiencing a violent medical episode with continuous physical attacks on other passengers and crews,” Alaska Airlines said, “Our crew members have this chaotic We responded promptly to such situations and kept all our guests safe until law enforcement intervened.
Unruly passengers are banned from flying on Alaska Airlines and Horizon Airlines due to physical attacks.
The suspect's name has not been released.
The plane returned to its gate and the flight was cancelled. The Oregonian saidquote Air traffic records. The outlet added that Alameda County Sheriff's deputies responded to the incident.

Recently, there have been multiple unruly passenger incidents.
