Wife Found Guilty in Angola Missionary’s Murder
A woman has been convicted of plotting her husband’s murder while they were on a missionary trip in Angola. This shocking case involves Beau Schroyer, who, on October 25, 2024, was discovered stabbed to death in his car in Thien Ho. The couple was in Angola as part of a mission trip organized by Lakes Area Vineyard Church in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Reports indicate that law enforcement had strong indications of a romantic connection between Jackie Schroyer, 44, and her alleged accomplice, a security guard who worked at their home. Schroyer’s husband had stopped to assist individuals in remote areas who pretended to have car trouble when he was attacked.
Local authorities arrested Jackie Schroyer, accusing her of orchestrating the crime. The authorities also apprehended two other men, Bernardino Isaac Elias and Isarino Muserenga Kayo, nicknamed “Vin Diesel.” Another suspect, identified as Gerson Guerreiro Ramos, remains at large. It’s been suggested that Jackie Schroyer paid $50,000 for the murder.
In a statement, church pastor Troy Easton mentioned, “Although this news is difficult to comprehend, it follows a thorough investigation and trial run with integrity.” Meanwhile, the couple’s five children have been returned to the U.S. to be with family.
The church has yet to disclose what sentence Jackie Schroyer will receive but confirmed that she will serve her time in Angola. Brett Schroyer, the victim’s cousin, expressed that the family is reeling from the loss. “Bo was a really great guy and a really strong family man. He was always supportive and looking for ways to help others,” he remarked.
