An Alabama pastor has ignited backlash by demeaning black Trump supporters as “ignorant stupid Negros” and hinting that former President Donald Trump will make them slaves when he gets into the White House.

An Alabama pastor sparked a backlash after degrading black Trump supporters as “ignorant, stupid niggers” and suggesting former President Donald Trump would enslave them if he returned to the White House.

Pastor Michael R. Jordan of New Era Baptist Church in Birmingham posted an inflammatory message on the church's sign.

Jordan plans to leave a message outside the church during the inauguration.

Jordan had posted a message on a church sign that read, “Warning to African Americans: Vote for Trump and black people will go back to picking cotton.”

The other side of the sign reads, “Attention all black people who plan to vote for Trump. You are ignorant, stupid black people.”

This controversial sign sparked outrage.

Alabama Lieutenant Governor Will Ainsworth — Republican — said “The church is to spread the gospel, share the message of God’s love, and share the life of Christ, not threaten or intimidate those who exercise their right to vote and support the candidate who is best for them. It should not be insulted or insulted. Those responsible for this sign should be ashamed.”

When asked if his controversial style could hurt the church, Jordan said: WVTM-TV“No, they totally know it's an ear catcher.”

“He's thinking from a Republican perspective. Donald Trump says sad, pathetic, negative things about people every day,” Jordan added.

Jordan plans to leave a message outside the church during the inauguration.

During his 32-year tenure at New Era Baptist Church, the pastor has a history of making inflammatory statements on church signs.

In 2019, he held up a sign that read, “White people voting for Trump is pure racism.”

alabama.com Jordan pointed out that in 2018, he attacked Highland Church, calling it a “slavemaster” church and accusing it of planning to plant a church in a majority-Black neighborhood.

In 2017, he posted a message saying, “Trump fooled poor white people.”

In 2004, a sign in a Jordanian church read: “AIDS is God's curse on homosexuals.''
