Kayleigh McEnany: “AOC isn’t fooling anyone”
On “Jesse Watters Prime Time,” FOX News host Kayleigh McEnany discussed Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who seemed to struggle with her words while addressing foreign policy at the Munich Security Conference.
Ocasio-Cortez has been vocal about her stance on President Donald Trump, insisting he should resign after he proposed a two-week ceasefire with Iran. “This statement doesn’t change anything,” she asserted in a post on X, reiterating her view that the President must be removed from office.
Earlier in the day, Trump had threatened severe retaliation against Iran before announcing the ceasefire. He issued a foreboding warning on Truth Social, stating, “Tonight, an entire civilization will perish…” although he hinted at potential positive outcomes with a regime change in Iran.
In response, Ocasio-Cortez called his remarks a “genocidal threat,” expressing concerns about his mental state and questioning his authority. “The President’s mental faculties are corrupted and cannot be trusted,” she mentioned, urging those in the President’s command to refuse unlawful orders.
Despite Trump’s ceasefire announcement later that night, Ocasio-Cortez maintained that nothing had fundamentally changed. She emphasized that Trump continues to pose a threat, highlighting his actions as a serious constitutional violation that risks global security.
In various statements, she has critiqued the administration’s alleged corruption and self-serving actions, accusing it of prioritizing personal gain over the nation’s well-being, which she believes justifies impeachment. “We can no longer jeopardize the well-being of the world and our nation,” she argued, appealing for bipartisan concern about national security.
Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for a response on these developments.
