Police in Phoenix’s West Valley suburb are asking the public to help them identify two people involved in an apparent assault and kidnapping at a gas station.
Police announced on Facebook that the incident happened at the Circle K near Interstate 10 and Watson Street in Buckeye.
Just after 10 p.m. that night, a gray SUV stopped at a gas pump, then a woman got out of the passenger seat and started driving toward a convenience store, according to surveillance video. A man is seen getting out of the driver’s seat, grabbing the woman and dragging her back to her car.
The SUV, which police said resembles a 2021-23 Nissan Rogue, then sped off on Watson Road toward Interstate 10.

“We understand that that video is very concerning to us, and it’s also concerning to the viewers who watched it. That’s why we’re here today to share these two “We’ve asked for information from the public to help us identify the subject. Please identify them and make sure this woman is OK,” said Sgt. Tamera Skaggs of the Buckeye Police Department said. FOX10 Phoenix.
The sergeant added that police do not know anything about the man and woman, including whether they are in a relationship.

“Timing is critical in this investigation. As we watch that video, we are concerned for that woman. There are too many unknowns in this investigation. At this point, we don’t know. All we have is that video,” Skaggs said.
