Arizona ju judges have discovered that Lori Vallow Daybell has committed a crime for conspiring to kill her late husband, Charles Vallow, after being convicted of killing two children in 2023.
Prosecutors allege that Vallow Daybell worked with his late brother Alex Cox to kill his fourth husband, Charles Vallow, and to receive money from his $1 million life insurance.
Vallow Daybell and Daybell were convicted of the murder of two Vallow children in 2019, 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan. The couple, who believe that some have dark spirits and share apocalyptic religious beliefs, have been convicted of murdering Tammy Daybell, Chad Daybell’s first wife. They were sentenced to life in prison.
In his final statement on Monday, Vallow Daybell, who represents him, told the ju umpire, “Only you can decide.”

“The state has given you a lot of evidence in this trial to make you hate me. I’m just trying to attack my character and telling you I’m guilty regardless of the evidence they show you,” Vallow Daybell said.
Vallow Daybell also claimed that the prosecutors failed to bring witnesses with “knowledge of the conspiracy.”

“The nation did not provide you with any evidence of a consensus to commit murder. They showed you the evidence of the family tragedy, and they showed you the sad effect of the family being torn apart because of the tragedy,” Vallow Daybell said.

Rather, Vallow Daybell claimed it was her brother who shot Charles Daybell. Vallow Daybell said her late brother and Charles Vallow were caught up in a physical battle at the same time.
