Assailant storms Mass. courthouse in gas mask, tactical gear and pepper sprays, assaults several victims: video

A gas masked attacker stormed into a Massachusetts court on Monday, randomly attacking Tillard, Pepper Spray officers and bystanders in a shocking, captured camera attack.

Nicholas Akelberg, 28, appeared at Woburn District Court outside Boston, with gas masks, tactical boots and sunglasses trapped and loaded before barking inside, according to police and security footage.

As he approached the entrance to the courtroom, Akeberg fired pepper spray at the officers while he was about to close his door. Despite her efforts, he threw her past her and threw her with more pepper spray before sprinting past the metal detector into the court lobby, footage shows.

Due to the court rampage Monday, he was charged with six counts of assault and battery with dangerous weapons and several other charges, the District Attorney’s Office said.

Akerberg was held at his arrest on Monday and his bail was revoked. He is scheduled to return to court on May 2nd.
