Claim: Hollywood star Bette Midler is pushing the left’s claim that Hillary Clinton never questioned the election results. In a post on Sunday’s X, she wrote, “Can you imagine what would have happened if Hillary Clinton had claimed the election was stolen?”
verdict: Although not completely false, it is misleading.
Bette Midler phrased her post as a question, a seemingly cunning ploy to thwart fact-checkers. But her intentions are clear. They want people to believe that Hillary Clinton has ever questioned the election results.

In fact, Hillary Clinton was the mastermind behind the Russian collusion hoax and attempted to discredit the 2016 election by claiming that then-candidate Donald Trump secretly collaborated with Russia to fix the results. And so.
Hillary Clinton’s former campaign manager testified that in late 2016 he personally approved Trump’s campaign plan to promote a smoking gun link between Trump and Russia. She tweeted the accusation and it is still posted.
Her campaign was behind the infamous Trump dossier (also known as the Steele dossier), which was leaked to Buzzfeed News and released 10 days before Trump’s inauguration. The document, which Trump claimed was Russian property, turned out to be completely false.
As a result of her actions, mainstream news media spent much of Trump’s presidency obsessing over “Russiagate,” with some receiving Pulitzer Prizes for their coverage.
However, as Breitbart News reported, the Durham report ultimately cleared former President Donald Trump of collusion with Russia.
In a 2019 interview with CBS’ Sunday Morning Show, Hillary Clinton called then-President Trump an “illegitimate president.” She added: “I know he knows this.” [the 2016 election] It wasn’t up to the level. ”
