President Joe Biden criticized Donald Trump for the collapse of the border security system and his administration’s failure to convince Congress to pass a $118 billion bill that allocates $20 billion for border security and $60 billion for Ukraine.・He criticized former President Trump and the “MAGA Republican Party.”

“Every day from now until November, the American people will learn that the only reason our border is unsafe is because of Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican friends,” he said.
“It’s time for Republicans in Congress to show courage, show some backbone, and make it clear to the American people that we work for ourselves and no one else. I know I work, I work for the American people,” he insisted.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) plans to vote on the Senate border bill on Wednesday, but Republicans are poised to block it.
The bill would give the government the power to expel illegal immigrants only if they meet an average threshold for border crossers.
